The Old Town Hall Bookstore
The Bookstore is open for business
on Saturdays from 10-2
We also plan to be open after the lawn concerts on Thursday nights through the summer.
In addition to amazing books, we have an assortment of gift items including decorative gift and kitchen accessories generously donated by the Board-N-Batten in Brantford.
If you haven't been in for a while, we have regained the space that was lost to the elevator and more by opening up another room.
You can now find the author you are looking for in our alphabetized wall of popular paperbacks!
Other categories are being re-created and organized on an ongoing basis.
Break open the piggy bank! Check for change under the sofa cushions! Grab some toonies and loonies and stock up on some reading bargains.
Paperbacks - $1.00
Hardcovers - $2.00
Children's Books - 50¢
Magazines - 5 for $1.00
with a few individually priced items
We offer an extensive selection of thousands of books, all donated by a very generous community. We are constantly amazed at the quality of books that come in and we are truly grateful to our donors.
New stock every week!
All proceeds support the operation of the Old Town Hall.

Please be aware that not all categories are well stocked at all times.
Some walk out the door as fast as we can fill them!
But books are being replenished on a weekly basis, so be sure to check back often.
Want Lists
We are happy to take reasonable want lists for non-collectible books and we have been quite successful at filling them.
Donations
Do you have books to donate to OTHA?
Just drop them off at the Town Hall, Monday to Friday 8 AM - 4 PM, Saturdays 10-2 or phone 519-443-0113.
We're happy to accept all donations (except text books and encyclopedias) but we especially like to see:
- Books about antiques
- Art books
- Current fiction
The Old Town Hall Book Store is exactly what a used bookstore should be ...
with friendly volunteers and lots of surprises to be found.
